Overview
Born in Jupiter, Florida, Blueline Surf & Paddle Co. blends surf, paddle, and coastal lifestyle into a single retail experience. Since 2010, the brand has connected locals and visitors through apparel, rentals, and community—offering everything from paddleboard and kayak access to a curated lineup of coastal lifestyle gear.
With a strong local following and a focus on comfort-driven, sun-ready products, Blueline’s retail offering is built specifically for South Florida living.
The Project
Blueline partnered with Conch Agency to develop a custom headwear program that could stand out in-store while aligning with the brand’s coastal identity. The goal was to create a technical, retail-ready hat that combined performance features with a distinct, elevated look.
Through our partnership with Pukka Headwear, we developed a high-crown structured 6-panel hat featuring a Bond-Go finish and a range of six colorways. The program was designed to offer variety while maintaining a cohesive aesthetic across the lineup—giving Blueline a stronger, more intentional headwear presence.
The Challenge
Blueline needed a product that could perform in Florida’s sun-heavy environment while still standing out in a competitive coastal retail setting. The program required:
A performance-driven hat suitable for daily outdoor use
A unique finish that elevated the product beyond standard headwear
Strong visual consistency across multiple colorways
A design that resonated with both locals and visiting customers
Balancing function, style, and retail appeal was key to ensuring the product would perform on the shelf.

The Result
Thanks to Pukka’s fully custom manufacturing capabilities, Conch Agency delivered a headwear program that quickly became one of Blueline’s top-selling products. The combination of technical performance, unique finish, and strong brand alignment drove consistent in-store demand and local recognition.
The program gained additional visibility when PGA professional Rickie Fowler was seen wearing a Blueline hat—further reinforcing the brand’s presence and accelerating interest in its headwear offering.
Today, Blueline’s custom headwear continues to be a standout category, reflecting the strength of a well-executed product backed by the right manufacturing partner.
